Review: My Favorite Facewash Brand

Today I am going to tell you about a face wash brand that has literally saved my life: Enfuselle Hydrating Cleansing Lotion, Purifying Cleansing Gel, and the Time Repair A.M. Face wash system from Shaklee.

My Face wash Failures!

I grew up in Hawaii where the air is fairly clean and moisturizing.  So I never really had problems with my face growing up and therefore didn’t care much for face wash.

Then I moved to the states and my face become something out of tales from the crypt.  It was the worst during the winter when things got really dry and I found my face shedding and itching constantly!

I literally sampled every face wash brand on the planet and scoured the stores to find out what I could use that would truly moisturize my skin.  For years everything failed me.

Salvation!

And then I found Shaklee and their incredible Enfuselle line of face wash products.  My life was changed forever.

I had 2 problems with every single face wash brand I bought in stores:

  1. The cleanser dried out my face even more than it always was.
  2. The moisturizer always made my face feel oily instead of soft and smooth.

Shaklee’s Enfuselle is the very first face wash system I have used that uses a lotion as its cleanser instead of soap.

And the Time Repair A.M. not only effectively moisturizes my skin, but it also soaks into it instead of simply laying on its surface.

Here’s how Shaklee describes it:

A five-in-one wrinkle treatment that meets all your skin’s daytime needs for renewal, brightening, moisturization, nourishment, and protection.

Your skin becomes measurably brighter, clearer, and smoother.

Paraben Free.

A Thrifty and Healthy Alternative: Homemade Face Wash

I recognize that there are a lot of people out there looking to cut their spending and save money.  I am more than happy to mention to you the Homemade Facewash–The Oil Cleansing method presented by Simple Organized Living.

I used this method for a while and really liked it.  However, it was time consuming and didn’t do as much as I wanted it to, so when we began to make more money I was thankful to find the Enfuselle Facewash System.

Even though it’s somewhat more expensive than the oil cleansing facewash, it’s also a thrifty solution since this stuff lasts A LOOOONG time!  I’ve been using it for 5 months now and I am only just now making it past the halfway point on the cleanser and toner.  My Time Repair A.M. is still over 3/4 of a bottle full!  And thankfully it is because it’s not cheap!

What’s your favorite facewash brand?
